The R package imageData provides a series of functions that extracts a range of traits from imaging data produced using a LemnaTec Scanalyzer.

Growth rates between successive imagings are obtained from these traits and those for a nominated set of intervals can also be calculated. Profile or longitudinal plots of the traits and growth rates can be produced. These allow one to check for anomalous data and to explore the growth pattern in the data.

Where to get it: it is available from the CRAN repository. The package is also available at http://chris.brien.name/rpackages/ where the latest version is first made available.
